Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your email address and name (or username) from the provider. We use this to identify your account and to display it in the dashboard. We do not store your password; authentication is handled by the provider.
When you use PageStatus, we store: your projects (name, slug), your monitors (name, URL), and the results of uptime checks (status, response time, timestamp). This data is used to show your status page and uptime history.
If you pay for a subscription (when we offer paid plans), payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under their own privacy policy.
How we use it
We use your data to provide the service: to run your status page, run uptime checks, and let you manage your projects and monitors. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Retention
We keep your account and project data until you ask us to delete it. Uptime check results are retained for a limited period (e.g. 90 days on the free tier) for display on your status page and in the dashboard.
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. These are required for the service to work. See our Cookie policy for details.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To request account or data deletion, contact us at privacy@pagestatus.dev. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required by law (e.g. GDPR), comply with your request.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, for material changes, we may notify you by email or a notice in the product.
